‘This was one of the first objects I made while at college, up until then I’d just worked on flat two dimensional work. The theme of ‘the body’ seemed to evolve naturally. Not just my body, but also the body of objects. This theme can be seen in ‘Bed’ where I used my own body as a template for the mattress, but also in Toothbrush Case and Bird Cage.
